Custom Report Builder – Status Update Report
This tool will allow you to create and customize reports to match what your Partner would like to show & what your clients expect. You can access the custom report builder at the top right of the search page by clicking on the “View Reports” button.
When you click on “View Reports”, you will see the standard IGNYTE Reports. You will also be able to select your Template, Language, and File Format.
If you keep your Template as the Standard option, the report generated will include everything. If you would like to customize your report, you can click on the “New Template” button.
Here you can create your customized template by deselecting the individual items you would like to hide, including Report Segment pages, Candidate Details Information, and the Candidate Stages to Be Shown.
Report Segments Section
- Live Job Metrics – Shows a breakdown of the number of candidates in each Stage.
- Candidates Interviewed/Scheduled to Interview with Hiring Manager – Shows the candidates that are at the Hiring Manager Interview stages, along with their interview dates listed in the Activity Log of their candidate record.
- FQ Summary – Shows the breakdown of Experience ratings and Competencies ratings (which together equal a candidates Fit Quotient Score) for all candidates in Candidate, Interview, and Offer Presented / Offer Accepted stages.
Candidate Details Information Section
- Compensation – including actual comp, expectations, equity, and compensation notes.
- Next Steps
- Status Bar – currently does not show anything on the report.
- FQ Details – shows the candidates overall Fit Quotient score (out of 10) on their profile page.
- Board History – this field is mostly used for Board Searches.
- Strengths and Concerns
- Show LinkedIn – this will include the LI logo that contains a live link to the candidates LinkedIn page.
- Show Comments – this will show any text that is input in the Comments column on the Candidate Pipeline page. *Please note that you if you click this to show, the ‘Show LinkedIn’ option will change to hide. You can only show one or the other.
Candidate Stages to Be Shown Section
You can select the specific stages to be shown on your report.
- Active Stages – these stages will give each candidate a full profile page, showing their employment history, education, and all of the items you elected to show under the Candidate Details Information section.
- Eliminated Stages – opting to show these stages will only provide a list of brief information, including name, current company and title, stage, reason for stage and LinkedIn.
- Pipeline – opting to show these stages will only provide a list of brief information, including name, location, current company and title, stage, and LinkedIn or Comments.
Once you have created your template, rename the template (be sure to save the new name) and then Save the template (right hand side).
Under Template, select your created template from the dropdown. You will now notice the option to “Edit the Candidate Pipeline”. Click on the toggle bar to the left of “Edit the Candidate Pipeline” and a page with the list of candidates will appear that correlates with the stages you opted to show (see image below).
Here you can sort the candidates in the order you would like them to appear by clicking on the six-dot icon to the very left and dragging it to your desired spot. If you would like to hide specific candidates from the report, click on the eye logo to the left of their name.
Once you have completed this, you can click on the “Generate and Download” button at the top left.
The next time you go to create a status report for this job, and want to use this format, click on Template and from the dropdown, select the template that you saved. You can always go back into your template to update it if needed. To do this, click on the pencil icon to the right of the Template name (see image below).
