A. You can manually enter the contact’s information, or upload from resume with the ability to parse 25 at one time.
Q. Are there any mandatory fields when creating a contact record?
A. Yes, you’ll need to complete mandatory fields which have an asterisk *
Q. Will available email/phone info be pulled over when creating a contact in this method or do we have to enrich data?
A. When you add a contact as Target on a search then any available communication channels (phone/email) will be enriched to the record.
Q. Can I manually enrich a contact record?
A. Yes, manually enriching a record will give you access to much more information that you can choose to add to the contact record.
Q. Can I link a contact to multiple companies?
A. Yes, contacts can be linked to multiple companies, such as when someone serves as a consultant or works across several departments. You can also add Board memberships.
Q. How do I ensure a contact is not duplicated?
A. IGNYTE includes a duplicate-checking feature. If you attempt to create a contact with an existing email or phone number, the system will flag it to you.
Q. Can I add a photo or avatar to a contact record?
A. Yes, you can upload a LinkedIn image/photo. This is currently a manual operation but is in development to automatically pull images when creating or enriching a contact record.
The Companies Module
Q. What is the Companies Module?
A. The Companies Module allows users to manage and store detailed information about client organizations, searches/projects, and other relevant companies. It serves as a centralized hub for company-related data, ensuring streamlined collaboration and record-keeping.

A. By using the Quick Add from the landing page
Q. Can I link contacts or candidates to a company?
A. The platform allows seamless linking of contacts, candidates, and other entities directly to a company profile.
Q. Can I track communication history with a company?
A. Yes! All emails, calls, meetings, and notes can be logged under the company profile for a comprehensive view of interactions. By logging an activity, you will choose the relevant company, contacts and searches to enable it to appear in the activity history.
Understanding IGNYTE grids
Q. What are IGNYTE grids?
A. IGNYTE grids are a powerful data grid component used for displaying, managing, and interacting with data in a table format. It supports features like filtering, sorting, grouping, pivoting, and exporting, making it ideal for managing large datasets efficiently within the platform.
Q. How do I sort data in a grid?
A. To sort data, click on the column header. Clicking once will sort it in ascending order, clicking again will sort it in descending order, and a third click will remove the sort.
Q. Can I filter data in a grid?
A. Yes, grids support multiple types of filtering, including text filters, number filters, date filters, and custom filters. Click the filter icon in the column header to apply a filter.
Q. How does pivoting work in grids?
A. Pivoting allows you to group and summarize data by dragging columns into the "Pivot" section of the grid's configuration panel. This helps you analyze data in different dimensions.
Q. Can I export data from a grid?
A. Yes, grids support data export in formats like CSV and Excel. You can use the "Actions" button in the toolbar or right-click on the grid to access export options. You can also reset grids here.
Q. Is it possible to resize columns in grids?
A. Absolutely. You can resize columns by dragging the edges of the column headers. You can also use the "Auto-Size" option to adjust columns based on their content.
Q. Can I rearrange columns in grids?
A. Yes, simply drag and drop column headers to rearrange them. The new order will persist until you reset it or reload the grid.
Q. What is the difference between grouping and pivoting in grids?
A. Grouping organizes rows by grouping them under a specific column value while pivoting aggregates and rearranges data into a cross-tabulated format for better analysis.
Q. Can I freeze columns in grids?
A. Yes, you can freeze (or "pin") columns to the left or right of the grid by right-clicking on the column header and selecting the desired pinning option.
